Direct Injuries for No-Win-No-Fee Claims

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to some frequently asked questions in this section.

Am I eligible for compensation?

A number of things need to be considered before claiming for compensation -

  • Did the accident happen in the last three years?
  • Was it entirely or partly someone elseís fault?
  • Did you suffer personal injury or any other form of loss or damage?

If your answer to the above questions is Yes then you may be eligible for compensation. One of our advisors will assess the details of your case to determine if a claim is possible. If it is, one of our specialist solicitors will be happy to assist you with your claim and to gain maximum compensation.

What injuries can I claim for?

While you are entitled by law to claim for serious injuries, you may also make claims for other injuries or loss sustained by you through no fault of yours. These may include cuts, bruises and soft tissue injuries like whiplash. As a guide, if you have required medical attention on at least two separate occasions for your injury, then you are entitled to claim compensation.

Can I be compensated for losses other than injuries?

Yes. Apart from injuries, you can ask for compensation for losses to property, medical or other expenses incurred, losses due to time lost at work or inability to work.

How long will it take?

The time it takes to settle claims depends largely on the circumstances of the accident. Cases are generally expedited if the party at fault admits liability. On average, it may take up to six months to settle a road traffic accident claim and up to a year for accidents or injuries at work.

Is there a time limit on submitting a claim?

You should submit a claim for compensation to recover any losses you incur as a result of a non-fault accident within three years of the incident. If you are not certain, our friendly advisors will help you determine if your compensation claim is still valid.

How can a claim cost me nothing even if I loose?
